Also in November, I was involved in a World Record attempt! I had almost forgotten about it until I scrolled through my camera roll looking for a photo to accompany an update for something else on here. That gives you a flavour of just how bonkers the last month has been.

It was the 2019 ‘Tapathon’ for BBC Children in Need. I have never tap danced in my life and previously would have shied away from doing something like this- especially as there were photos being taken and sent to the local papers. I was surprisingly unfazed by my complete lack of ability and coordination though, I really enjoyed being there to support the dance schools attempt (it was at Fiona Henderson school of dance in Peebles, where I rent studio space for my Burlesque classes) and I’ve also picked up some moves for possible use in future Burlesque routines!

We are yet to hear if the record is officially broken, but it’s looking good so far. Also of great importance, we raised some money for Children in Need in the process 💖
